In the process of the integration of telecommunications network and the Internet with each other, distributed IMS network, as a direction of the future mobile Internet, has some advantages such as flexible and strong ability of introducing new service. Because the concept of distributed IMS network has just arisen recently, there are many issues about it to be resolved, including how to ensure the high availability of user data. This paper mainly consider how to enhance the data availability of distributed IMS network from the level of user data storage. We try to achieve high data availability by designing distributed HSS system using DHT technology and related optimization algorithms. In addition, our design can reduce the performance requirements of single-point network equipment, improve the network capabilities of self-organization, and greatly simplify the complexity of signal processing. In the process of researching user data availability in distributed IMS network, the first problem to be resolved is how the user data are stored in a distributed network environment in order to ensure service viability. Second, we should consider methods of improving the availability of user data from multi-disciplinary approach, such as the load balance of different HSS nodes which are used to stored user data in distributed IMS network and effective data redundancy mechanism. To address the above problems, this paper focus on the storage method of user data in distributed IMS network, the load balance and data redundancy problem, and achieved the following innovation:1. Propose the distributed HSS network structure based on region division, realize the user data's local preservation and the traffic optimization.2. Propose the partition identity-based load balancing algorithms. Avoid the problem of routing overhead increased, which is bring to by the traditional load balancing algorithms such as virtual server.3. Design the generation method of HSS node's partition identity and the load dynamic adjustment algorithm, and achieve better load balancing effect. 4. Propose a novel data redundancy mechanism, and the mechanism can ensure higher data availability when large-scale node failure in the domain.
