Photonic crystal fiber (PCF) is proposed as a new generation of fiber which based on development of photonic crystal technology in recent years,it has two-dimensional periodic dielectric structure along the interface. With many traditional optical fiber does not have singular characteristics, such as endless single-mode, high birefringence effect, easy-to-multi-core transmission, high nonlinearity, photonic crystal fibers have extensive research in both the value and application.Thesis focuses on femtosecond pulse in photonic crystal fiber transmission characteristics of the theoretical and numerical study, the main research in the following text is:①. A brief overview of the concept and characteristics of photonic crystals, followed by the introduction of the concept of photonic crystal fiber and its classification, properties, preparation and the application prospect of the introduction.②. Derived femtosecond pulse in photonic crystal fiber ordinary transfer equation and the femtosecond pulse in the dual-core photonic crystal fiber transmission of the coupled equations, a brief introduction of the transfer equation for solving the two numerical methods-step Fourier method and Fourier series methods. Through comparative analysis of two methods, briefly described the series method for solving the transfer equation Fourier advantage.③. Based on the generalized nonlinear Schr?dinger equation using the Fourier series method to study the femtosecond pulse in the dual-core photonic crystal fiber transmission characteristics. Focused on the linear coupling coefficient between mode dispersion coefficient, the input pulse power and Raman scattering parameters caused by changes in the transmission of pulse waveform changes, analyze the causes, of the above on impulse transmission importance.
