The mobile phone as up-to-date mobile communication tool was now spread widely and beginning to replace the status of fixed telephone. Following the broad application of mobile phone, people know the inner structure of mobile phone more and more and work principle. In the many parts made of mobile phone, the antenna is an important component; it ensures phone to implement a good call.The quality of antenna decides if mobile phone works normally, so the producers need to test the performance of antenna. In the past testing activity, the radio and audio performance were measured separately. The testing efficiency is not high by this way, and is not also automatic test completely. In the new test system, RF and audio testing were combined into one station; the test efficiency is improved further. For the new testing system, the hardware setup was introduced in this paper; the design and development of software were described more.In the software development activity, the object oriented technology was used. First, the use case diagram was showed in the phase of requirement analysis. And then, setup the static model and active model in the phase of software design. Final, the software was finished. The UML was used in the requirement analysis and design phase of software. The Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW) is programming tool of software development.Through this project, the company production efficiency on antenna testing is enhanced further. The development process is a beneficial experiment too; it became an important base for testing improvement and software functional extension in the future.
