With the rapid development of network technology, information sharing brings great convenience to the people, at the same time it also brings a lot of potential safety problems. For a long time, more attention is payed to Web-based network security but less concerns to the mainframe computer system security. In the information age, due to the Internet and other information media the existence of computer data security issues have become increasingly prominent.In this paper, the main method to control data security is presented, user access control, data encrypted storage and data backup recovery. On the basic study of computer data security and its influence factors, the document encryption and decryption solution is proposed based on the file system filter driver, including data backup and disaster recovery functions. Safe Island is a solution proposed to meet the current user's need of data security. The details of the solution is designed, including filter driver design, the selection of encryption algorithms, in addition two technologies are resolved, Safe Island seamless integration to OS and disk partition hidden in the protection, which meet the design objectives.A Windows-based data security protection system SI (Safe Island) is implemented.The system design objectives, the framework design, functional design, as well as the realization of the core module methods are discussed in detail. The experimental data and results are analyzed. The solution is compared with EFS which the operating system comes with, in order to lessons advantages make up for the shortfall. At the same time, issues such as security of the system were analyzed. SI is improved in the data security system of the protection of property. Test results show that the system operating normally, reached the design goals proposed in this paper.
