Photoacoustic technique which is a highly sensitive and noninvasive detecting technology, has become a hot research field in recent years.Photoacoustic technique has provided a new research approach called Photoacoustic Tomography(PAT) for clinical diagnosis in biomedical application. PAT combines advantages of both ultrasound and optical imaging, can provide high ultrasonic resolution and high optical cantrast tissue images. As the next generation successful imaging techniques in biomedical application,PAT can provide an effective approach of tissue structure and functional images to study the architechtures, physiological and pathological properties and metabolism of biological tissues. This paper mainly includes four parts.1.Photoacoustic technique combines the advantages of optical and ultrasound,it has high resolution, anti-interference ability and so on. The preliminary study of multi-ring photoacoustic imaging detection technology has been discussed in this paper, the fundamental principles and reconstruction algorithm of the multi-ring photoacoustic detection imaging have been introduced.2.A photoacoustic tomography system has been established by using infrared diode laser (950nm),multi-ring annular photoacoustic transducer made from composite material and other devices.3.The multi-ring photoacoustic sensor array signal acquisition system based on GPIB-USB and PCI-1750 have been designed. Using LabVIEW software algorithm and the noise of the establishment of software, hardware and software experiments show that the system works properly, capable of photoacoustic signal detection;4.Multi-ring technology has more advantages than single-ring,double-ring detection technology in the axial detection, in particular the quantitative detection of photogenic.A multi-wavelength confocal microfluidic chip detection system has been designed in this thesis, and we have filed an application for a patent.
