Face Recognition And Application On Auto-guard Against Theft

Face recognition is one of the most challenging research areas in biometric fields.It has been widely studied in recent years. It touches upon digital image processing,pattern recoginition,computer vision, psychics,physiology, mathematics and so on. While new algorithms and technologies are emerging out from labs, how to converter these interesting and exciting results into products become attractive and meaningful.A face collection system based on face recognition and auto-guard against theft technologies is proposed in the paper. The hardwire of the system is controlled by TMS320DM6446,one of the lateset media chip produced by Texas Instrument(TI), The chip takes up Davici technology , the Davici technology integrate an ARM core and a C64x+DSP core into one sillicon;it improves system integration ,lowers the board level cost and improves dual-core coordination, it provides standard devices drivers, makes design more convenient. The paper mainly studies on :(1) face image pre-processing: After collectting the face images ,we will process these images, such: beam compensating, gloomylize and so on.(2) Design of auto-guard system based on face recognition: one auto-guard system based on recognition is designed in this part.(3) Face detection algorithm based on Adaboost: it mainly talks about Adaboost face detection algorithm.(4) Face recognition algorithm based on PCA: PCA face recognition and its reality.
