With the improvement of science and technology, modern production equipment is becoming more and more complex in large, automated and integrated development. So fault diagnosis has become more and more important. If fault can not be detected and removed in time ,not only it will cause damage to the device itself, but also the incident will involve the entire department, resolving in huge economic losses. The application of information technology enables the large, complex equipment condition monitoring and fault diagnosis into a distribution style instead of a centralized one.Fault diagnosis grid is the organic integration of the remote collaborative fault diagnosis and grid technology. It defines the wide-area distribution of expertise, test equipment, analysis software as diagnosis resources. And the organization and optimization scheduling of the diagnosis is a key to system operation effectively. It presents the task scheduling architecture in fault diagnosis grid and the analysis of the process of the fault signals decomposition and allocation to the diagnosis resources. And through Gridsim simulation combined with a variety of scheduling targets, the validity of the task scheduling model can be implemented.Firstly this dissertation analyzes the concept of fault diagnosis grid and presents the five layers FD-G structure to study its organizational model and features. It establishes the fault diagnosis task management model and describes the task of fault diagnosis, makes the decomposition and group for diagnosis task., providing a solution to the task decomposition and planning, resource selection and scheduling. Finally, based on Globus Toolkit grid middleware, it introduces the methods for the development of grid service and lays the foundation for further improvement of fault diagnosis grid by experimental verification.
