Forest residues has a very important use value as an important source of renewable biomass energy, but now because of the lack of modernization and scientific and rational and efficient production management collection, transportation and other equipment, resulting in a large number of residues were cutting area discarded in the forest, which not only result in wastage of forest resources, but also easily lead to forest fires. How to effectively collect and use of cutting area of forestry workers facing residues is an important issue. In this case, if you use the remote control function with the mechanical hand and using appropriate remains identification method in the process of collecting, you can increase the security of the system, saving significant loss and improve the efficiency of forest residues and use of the value of the collection.This article is related to the research on the key technologies of collection device about forest residue. PC computer as a collection device on the remote control robot PLC to complete the collection of forest residues,and in-depth research on the object identification in collection process.This article is designed remote control robot computer hardware and software system environment to work and the simulation experiments. And collection of forest residues need to use the object recognition algorithm in-depth and detailed analysis and research, presented to Hidden markov algorithm is applied to forest residue recognition to, and made many of the objects feature extraction methods were compared by experiment, experiments show that the algorithm is higher object recognition rate, robustness, the trained model has relatively strong ability to identify with a certain practical value and broad prospects for development.According to the key issues on forest residue collection device involved in proposed research projects for the contents of the methods and ideas, includes the(1) describe the current methods commonly used in object recognition and gain an in-depth research, analysis of each of the advantages and disadvantages of object recognition algorithm, and details description of the entire study object recognition method.(2) the designed HMM object recognition algorithm is applied to forest residue recognition to, and adopted prior to object recognition and feature extraction pretreatment methods of analysis and comparison, analyzes the result by use of data in the database and the number of experiments paper.(3) PLC control system is a general design. In-depth study of knowledge on the various aspects of the current PLC conducted on the PLC control system design including discussed software environment and hardware environment, and computer (4) Design and implementation collection of forest residues control device.
