In China, some hospitals are vigorously proceed with digital construction using the technology of RFID, computer, network, communication and database in order to manage and apply the information on hospital, medical care, economic and other materials effectively, achieving to share the internal and external information resources of the RFID systems. Meanwhile, as our economic developing and the rising living standards, Chinese per capita life prolonged, people demands higher and higher health care, in particularly, retired military, retired veteran cadres who are revolutionary heroes and our national treasures, however, with the age increasing, increased diseases become the main issues troubling them. How to do well these elderly and high risk groups, that is the "two high people" who are the retired and retired veteran cadres of prevention, medical care, health care, we face the new problem and new challenges. In this context, this article discussed the "The design of veteran cadres monitoring system based on RFID technology".This study covers the following aspects:Firstly, according to the status of the RFID technology and the hospital medical management at home and abroad, we proposed a set of monitoring system design for hospitalized veteran cadres which mainly achieved to read, write and inquire the basic information, the location and access control of veteran cadres and so on. The basic information of the veteran cadres such as name, age, ID number, and the hanging sections, etc which are written in the tags. In order to achieve real-time monitoring, it is necessarily needed to set up the card reader in the intensive care unit, toilets, corridors and halls. To receive the location information of wristband tag at any time and implement the regional location and activities scope of the patients, meanwhile, we adopted access control for the special wards to prevent the patients to go out or broke into.Then, we introduced the RFID-related technologies, in particularly and carried out in-depth study on the difficulty of the RFID technology--anti-collision algorithm. According to the status of the RFID anti-collision algorithm, we proposed a novel anti-collision algorithm. Meanwhile, the feasibility of the proposed algorithm was tested and we modified the algorithm according to the tested results. The simulation results show that this algorithm greatly reduces the times of readers asked and effectively improves the efficiency of the system of recognition compared with other algorithms.Again, we analyzed and designed the hardware parts of the veteran cadres monitoring system which included RFID transceiver module and embedded control module. RFID transceiver module used the ZLG522S reader module developed by ZLG Company achieving to collect and write data in tags. Embedded control module is based on SAMSUNG S3C2410A microcontroller as the core part, NOR FLASH, NAND FLASH, SDRAM as the memory, while extended JTAG interface, RS232 interface, Ethernet interface, LCD interface and so on, through the RS232 interface to connect with RFID Transceiver. The embedded module mainly controled the tag reader of RFID transceiver at the same time, and completed the multi-task communication between PC and the RFID module respectively.Finally, we designed the software for the veteran cadres care system. The main content was a self-tailored transplant Linux operating system, we developed RFID readers, access control systems, regional location and TFT-LCD Driver program on the Linux operating system, meanwhile, designed the RFID terminal completing the graphical interface development which was based on Qt/Embedded and implementation tag data collection, transmission and storage based on RFID embedded terminal.This thesis provides a relatively completed solution for the design of veteran cadres monitoring system based on RFID technology. Because the design of this system is based on the S3C2410A microcontroller, the structure and function of the system is easy to upgrade and expand later.
