At present, Chinese passenger check-in authentication system is based on real-name second-generation identity cards authentication system. With the increasing fraudulent cases by using false ID card, we should improve the customary system to ensure the legitimacy and authenticity against terrorist threatening. The thesis analyzes shortcomings of the air check-in system by comparing the authentication technology, uses digital certificates as the civil aviation passengers primary means of authentication.This thesis implements the digital certificate authentication system for the air passenger check-in system. The system consists of passenger registration system and digital certificate authentication system, uses USB Key as the private key and digital certificate carrier and uses s fingerprints to control the accessment to USB Key in order to deal with the weak point of USB Key by avoiding password guessing attacks. This really increases the ease of use and safety.The following are the advantages of the system discussed in the thesis,1This system implements the true sense of "person" in certification, denies the identity of relying solely on a particular means of authentication, significantly improved aviation security authentication system.2Chose fingerprint identification technology as the representative biometric technology to avoid the loss of key information, not only reduce the burden of registration and distribution management center but also ensure control right of the owner. 3Chose USB Key as a carrier of digital certificates because it does provide no external access, provides internal micro-processing unit and encrypts with collaborative computing device and is able to complete the complex calculations. This can reduce the false certificate or fingerprint template and the threat of destruction.4USB Key personalized through the fingerprint template instead of PIN code, avoiding disclosure the PIN code or password.5Designed two different authentication modes, reducing the pressure on the airport crew members to ensure the certification of the intensity, and feasible.This thesis describes the related technologies digital certificates, including PKI security system and function, CA, USB Key and applied technology, then designs verification flow and modules of this system, defines the functions of each module, in particular, proposes hardware requirements for the fingerprint recognition module. Finally put the certificate verification system into effect by Using VC + +,OpenSSL for digital simulation.
