With the popularization of computers and booming information technology, information platforms have been built up in all walks of life while the comprehensive information service platform for rural area, agriculture and peasants is still not up to the expectations. It is of great significance, therefore, to set up a well-developed platform for agricultural information.The foremost function of an agricultural information platform is to provide users with really needed information or, to put it another way, customized information service for counties, villages and peasants. With the ever-growing information on the internet, users can access various resources rapidly and conveniently but it is difficult for them to find what they really need in the ocean of information by mere browsing. Therefore, the difficulty would be doubled when peasants try to find the agricultural information they need in the massive amount of information. The smooth flow of information, which is the soul of the internet, is the key to activate internet applications and promote their developments. The most important way of its realization is through text mining technology, which is the basic and core application of the internet. The diversification of internet industry, therefore, includes doubtlessly the multi-level applications of text mining technology in internet enterprises. It could be foreseen that the mature text mining technology, once applied in the internet, will soon be popularized.The important information source on the agricultural informationization platform is obtained through the agricultural information acquisition system, which is also the core of agricultural informationization. This paper is a study carried out on the theory of web classification in text mining and its applications. Based on the theory, it realizes the application of Chinese webs classification technology to the agricultural knowledge acquisition system. Besides, integrated with web crawling, information extraction and information retrieval technologies, a "one-key search" on the agricultural information platform is devised, which would provide peasants with convenient and efficient service of agricultural information. |
