Wireless Ad Hoc network is a kind of dynamic, self-organization and multi-hop wireless network which has no basic infrastructure. Because the establishing of the network is flexible and fast, wireless Ad Hoc network has a very broad application prospect. Meanwhile, because of some of Ad Hoc network's characteristics such as the absence of infrastructure, frequent changes in network topology, openness of wireless links, hardness to detect the misbehaving nodes, and lack of self-stabilization property, Ad Hoc network suffers many kinds of attacks. As the core function, the routing protocols' security takes very important part, and now the research on it is very hot.This thesis introduces the safety threat first, and the security issues and typical attacks are studied in detail. This thesis discusses the current security research on wireless Ad Hoc network, and it also discusses some secure routing protocols.After studying the security issues of the routing protocols, we propose a security protocol which is based on AODV to resist the black hole attack. This protocol adds routing test process, and it can detect the wrong routing. The simulation results show that the new protocol can detect the malicious nodes effectively, so the protocol can improve the security of AODV. The protocol is simple and effective, and the routing load is low, so it is very practical in wireless Ad Hoc network.And we propose a security protocol which is based on OLSR to resist the wormhole attack. When the protocol finds the wrong network topology, it will detect the neighbor's identity. The simulation results show that the new protocol can detect the false neighbors effectively, so the protocol can improve the security of OLSR. The protocol is simple and effective, and the routing load is low, so it is very practical in wireless Ad Hoc network.
