Ultra wide band impulse radio (IR-UWB) has many advantages and it is one of the hottest research spots.In recent years, with the breakthrough of compressed sensing theory, IR-UWB has further development, which greately arouses researchers'attention. The subject of this paper comes from the National Natural Science Foundation project, which has important theoretical and practical value.In this paper, the basic principle of the framework of compressed sensing theory is analyzed in detail.We focus on signal sparse representation, design of measurement matrix and reconstruction algorithm.Besides, with the way of modulation and the characteristic of IR-UWB and carrier synchronization IR-UWB in time domain.An exploring technical solution has been proposed in this paper, which applys compressed sensing in sampling of IR-UWB and carrier synchronization IR-UWB at the receiver. We also analyzed the performance of applying compressed sensing in the domain of Ultra wide band channel modeling. The results of theoretical analyze and computer simulation show that using compressed sensing has many advantages.Besides, a design solution of military communication system based on Compressed Sensing-Ultra Wide Band has also been proposed.The research of applying compressed sensing in Ultra wide band wireless communication this paper has done is just a useful exploration in such fields, and it plays an important roles for further research in such fields.In terms of organization, this paper can be divided into six chapters: The first chapter is a summary of compressed sensing theory, its development, and research actuality at home and abroad; Chapter two mainly analyzes the CS basic principles, signal sparse representation, design of measurement matrix and reconstruction algorithm; Chapter three is the simulation of the IR-UWB and analysis of its sparse nature;Chapter four is the research on compressed sensing and its application in IR-UWB system; Chapter five introduces the application of compressed sensing associated with UWB in military communication;Chapter six is the conclusion.
