The Design And Implementation Of A Vertical Search Engine Based On Topic Information Service

With the popularity of the network, the Internet applications are increasingly penetrated into the economic, social, and life in all areas, especially the emergence of search engine technology facilitates information integration. Vertical search is a professional search engine against a certain fixed Industry, it's a subdivision and extension of search engine, it's a integration of certain type of information in the library of Web page, that the industrialized division in the area of search.Topic information service is a kind of search service that user can search a type of information collection. Urban management, including political, economic, social and municipal management, runs through the entire process of urban planning, command, construction, operation, safety supervision and coordination. Applying the vertical search technology and topic information service to scientific decision-making in urban management will effectively improve the efficiency and accuracy.This article is based on a cooperation project with a research center, mainly completes the following work:(1)analyze the current, in particular the status of the development of vertical search engine, describe the advantages and disadvantages of the current related technology, introduces the working principle and workflow of the system; (2)According to the needs of the practical work in urban management, improve the current topic information search design ideas, and according to the basic dictionary of urban management, design a set of metadata standards of the topic words, introduce a concept of topic word library and topic related word library;(3) design and implement a full-text search engine system based on web-based data and journal articles data, achieve the word frequency statistics, user's personalized search, deletion of duplicated web pages, caching mechanisms and other functions;(4)for mass data search in urban management, use related theories of data mining, design the topic relevance search algorithm, this algorithm is applied to the urban management full-text search engine to achieve the topic-oriented search service; (5)Finally, count the actual work of the system applications within a period of time.The system has already been put into use in the research center and currently works well.
