Research And Application Of IDSS Based On Data Mining In The Transportation Industry

The research of Intelligence Decision Supporting Systems (IDSS) and its relevant technologies are a hot subject of the present information field. The paper put forward to setting up a Freightage Intelligence Decision Supporting System, through kinds of research and analysis on the development of freightage. The system is used to make intelligent decisions on multi-freight centers selection and set down projects of goods transportation. After analyzing the system's requirements comprehensively, the author designed and realized the Freightage Intelligence Decision Supporting System which based on the Visual Studio.Net platform and the Data Mining technology.The modules of the Intelligence Decision Support System are all realized by Data Mining technology. The k-means clustering algorithm is adopted to realize the decision module of the multi-freight centers'locations and the algorithm is improved on cluster number and cluster center; The Genetic Algorithm is adopted to realize the decision module of making freightage programs, and the author also improved the algorithm especially on the design of initial population, selection operator and crossover operator.The Freightage Intelligence Decision Supporting System makes the decision making on freightage trade is more scientific and efficient, so that brings satisfactory decisions.
