Design And Realization Of Accelerate Download Scheme Based On Edge Cache

With the widespread popularization of Internet and rapid development of broadband network, the tranditional downloading mode based on the client/server limites the downloading speed and the expansibility of systems. Considering the ploblems of slow internet speed which caused by traditional networks congestion. So other technologies are proposed to resolve this problem. But those can't be widely used because of their drawbacks, so it is needed a new downloading scheme to solve the problem.This thesis proposes an accelerated download scheme through study on CDN and P2P.It conbines P2P and CDN and takes advantage of their merits to construct a new resource download service system. It shorten the distance between users and resources by sending center server resources to edge of network. Meanwhile, edge cacher server and its users nearby automatically construct P2P download network. So resources becoming more marginalize and then users obtain the high download speed.Firstly, the fundamental principle of the network downloading technology and its current research situation are introduced in the thesis, and then the important significance of the project is expatiated. It makes a comparision between P2P and CDN technology, and put forward an idea which is related to merge the two technologies efficiently to generate perfect effect. And then, a new downloading scheme is proposed.Secondly, through utilizing P2P communication technology, the principle of BT technology protocol is analyzed. And then combining with CDN,the network mode of the new scheme is proposed, and the functional modules of the cache server are described in detail.Finally, the main concepts and designs of the downloading client in the new scheme are described in detail.The components and their modules are designed and realized, and the downloading performance test is done for the new system.The result of the test demonstrates the scheme not only effectively enhances download speed but also controls the network traffic of backbone network effectively. In addition, in terms of kinds of pratical problems, this paper introduces some ideas and measures of improvement in the form of discussion, for example, supporting VOD and researching network security.
