This article summarized the present research situation and application prospect of fiber Bragg grating sensor, studied the pressure sensing characteristic thoroughly. Several typical pressure sensor's package structures are simulated and analyzed using finite element analysis software ANSYS. The polymer package and the shielded radial thrust package pressure sensors are designed, their shapes of distortion + not distortion and map of displacement vector sum are simulated and analyzed united the application background of ocean temperature profiles measurement system. Experiment system is built and experimental performance tests on the two kinds of pressure sensor structures designed in this article are carried on. Experimental results and theoretical analysis showed that in 0~1000KPa, the polymer package sensor has 50 multiples sensitivity enhancement compared with the bare, the shielded radial thrust package sensor has 10 multiples sensitivity enhancement. The results showed that the sensor structures designed in this article are feasible.
