This article described the relevant knowledge of digital image processing technique and analyzed the application of function database for OpenCV digital image processing. Common monitor systems need people to sit in front of the screen and observe, the reliability of this kind of monitor can't be guaranteed since human will be tired for long time working. In order to solve this problem, the article adopted Digital Image Processing technique and formed two kinds of arithmetic intelligent monitoring system by using OpenCV Image Processing function database and MFC dialog box program technique, then use the two kinds of monitoring system to realize real-time monitor on round handle valves and handle valves.When the valve condition changed, the monitor system can automatically recognize and alarm the worker, when the short time change such as hand passing by the valves, it will exclude this condition automatically and will not alarm. The arithmetic of the first monitor system is, it will collect samples by same frames, if four foreground images were detected, it will determinant valves change. The arithmetic of the second monitor system is, the background updated continuously and approaching to the current image, if the continuously detected forground images exceeded the setted valve figure, it will determinant the valve conditon change and alarm. The article introduced the applying and monitoring procession of the two monitor systems, made interception of images in real time monitoring operation, offered the main procedure code of the monitoring system and also analyzed some applying method of main functions by detail.
