With the rapid development of economy, the number of city private cars has greatly increased, causing roads more and more crowded. To efficiently solve this problem, we bring in Intelligent Transport System. Although ITS has grown into a brand-new epoch with the emergence of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), there is still a series of core technologic problems to be conquered. For example, if the vehicles in monitoring areas can be traced and located precisely, it is achievable to build ITS based on WSN. According to the problems above, this paper focuses on the design of Wireless sensor synergy Intelligent Transportation System and algorithm of Vehicle positioning.The main study content is as follows:firstly, we give an overview of current Wireless sensor networks coordinated vehicle-vehicle system and vehicle-road system, compare the advantages and disadvantages of this system, then forward the frame of integrated vehicle-vehicle and vehicle-road ITS, and briefly introduce our adopted Zigbee wireless communicating protocol and Hardware structure and communication management processes. In the second part, we mainly introduce the hardware design. CC2430 with Zigbee protocol is used as the core hardware platform. Antenna, display module, the serial interface circuit and CAN communicating circuit are all specially designed. And in this part, we also analyze the design principle and preference of each circuit in detail and test the networking. In the last part, we focus on the location of moving vehicles. After analyzing the current positioning technology of wireless sensor networks and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of domestic and foreign mobile wireless sensor network node localization algorithm, we propose a receiving intensity-assisted algorithm monte carlo box localization algorithm. In this plan, the samples can be convergent to real values by adding weights to actual measurement of receiving intensity. The simulation result shows:this algorithm with high locating precision rightly meets our request.In all, the whole circuit, concise, distinct and highly reliable, can precisely achieve locations of moving targets.
