| In the digital information age, the object of digital media content protection usually includes text, image, audio, video and other mediums. The intrinsic nature of digital data makes the task of manipulating, replicating and distributing digital copies extremely easy. The behaviors of piracy and abnormal usage do great harm to our economy, society and culture.The digital rights management system is used to protect the digital contents by a series of technology. It describes the contents, identifies them, trades them, protects them, monitors them and tracks them in the procedure of content production, distribution and consumption. It can protect the interests of the owners. DRM system has involved many new technologies, such as watermark, rights expressions and identification, compared with the first generation, which mainly uses encryption techniques.This thesis analyses the theory of the traditional DRM system and some technologies about it, according to the analysis, design.a DRM model based on technologies of watermark and scrambling encryption. The model adopts the pattern of "platform+client software", and provides uniform rights protection to picture, audio and video. The designed model can ensure the correct usage of digital content whether it is online or not. So it prevents from illegal copy and distribution, and protects effectively rights of digital content. The main works are showed as below:1) the development of DRM system both here and abroad are referred to, and then the theory of the traditional model of DRM system and copyrights protection technologies are studied deeply. The advantages and disadvantages are summarized.2) Combining theory of DRM system with the principle of relative technologies, a DRM model based on technologies of watermark and scrambling encryption is designed. In the designed DRM model, digital content is embed watermark twice, binding the user's hardware information and usage information, and at last is disposed by scrambling encryption. 3) According the DRM system, the thesis designed the flow of client program. The program makes it possible to provide identification and rights verifier when digital content is offline.4) The Visual C++has been studied systematically, and the software is realized. Users can enter the platform, and play digital contents, and browse the updated usage information. |
