We use Lucene and Heritrix as the main platform to design the system, and our main work can be seen as followed:.First,We analyze the pet product market status and make sure of user'search need in order to know what funtion our system should has and how to realize it,then we design the sub-framework of our system.we also take data storage and data back-up into consideration. Second,make improvement of Heritrix framework and make sure it can only grasp pet product information.Third,add topic forecast arithmetic to the system which can gives a good ranking result,besides, we build a specialized pet product dictionary.Fourth, modify the origin Lucene Sorting algorithm and replace of it by improved PageRank algorithm.Finally, the design of this system in on Eclipse,the paper realizes the core modules of the system..By testing the system,it is proved that our strategy of pet product vertical search engine is good and can satisfies people's search need.Compared to general search,the effection of the system is Improved and the accurate is heigher than its counterparts.
