With the development of wireless communications, external space target detection and tracking needs, in radar, military, satellite communication and mobile communication systems, the antenna's operating bandwidth, wide scanning angle, dual-circular polarization has now become the hotspot in antenna field.Based on the phased array antenna working principle and characteristics, closely integrated " Research of broadband wide-angle pairs of circularly polarized phased array antenna" topics. A study on how to achieve wideband microstrip antenna, wide-angle, dual-circular polarization, with an emphasis analyze on how to achieve high isolation between dual-port. At the same time, this paper presents a circular incision with a defect ground structure of the microstrip antenna, which owns wide-angle, pairs of circularly polarized, broadband,high isolation characteristics The author's main work and research findings can be summarized in the following areas:(1) Analyzed the phased array antenna working principle, and its impact on the performance and structure of the antenna unit size, for how to choose this phased array antenna modules provide a theoretical basis.(2) A detailed analysis of the impact factors on the bandwidth of microstrip patch antenna, radiation beam width and how to achieve circular polarization. in the form of conventional circular antenna, based on the unique pairs of incisions through the use of patch structure and the flawed approach, so that the antenna element with wide operating frequency band, wide beam width, dual-circular polarization characteristics. At the same time, two kinds of traditional pattern methods are introduced simply, Chebyshev synthesis method and Taylor synthesis method. The example demonstrated the application of traditional method in antenna array synthesis.
