With the increasing complexity of space missions, the higher requirements of on-board computer are put forward. How to improve the on-board computer reliability, security and real-time of satellites is an urgent problem of spacecraft and rocket control system to be resolved.This thesis presents a three-modular redundancy fault-tolerant on-board computer design method. The computer uses the same three-machine configuration style. to achieve a three-state synchronous, the three-machine synchronization and the data exchange module are embedded in every single machine. When a single machine is failure, the single machine will be removed from the system by the fault-tolerant management mechanism of the system and the remaining two normal machines will reconstruct the single failure machine through the three-machine data exchange channel. In order to achieve three-machine synchronization and system reconstruction, a precise synchronization algorithm based on state tracking mechanism is presented, not only the precise synchronization of the TMR fault-tolerant computer can be implemented. but also the inadequate interconnection resource can be saved, the cost of implementing and the expending of other system resource can be decreased too. A system reconstruction algorithm based on transport protocol frame is proposed too, it can implement the seamless reconstruction of the fault modules.The thesis develops the operating system VxWorks software platform which is a high-performance, high reliability, real-time multitasking operating system, facilitating the application software development and system debugging.
