Deposit is the product of geological anomaly, geophysical and geochemical anomalies are the manifestations in the physical and chemical nature of the product, the remote sensing anomaly is the manifestations in the remote sensing image of the production.Currently, Mineral prospecting has stepped into an new era of quantitative exploration which characterized by information prospecting and collected theories, methods and technology together. It will improve the accuracy and efficiency to build multi-dimensional exploration system with new technologies, new data and new model.As the display format of directly recording the spatial characteristics of surface features, the remote sensing image truly shows the surface geological conditions and the spatial characteristics of geological phenomena, such as shape and distribution etch, in the form of tones, shape and texture. However, there will be mineral formation and output accompanied by a series of spatial distribution characteristics, when. In addition, the alteration information is the important prospecting symbol, because the majority hypogene deposits have its alteration phenomenon, and the distribution regions is bigger than the ore body.The geological features in ore formation prediction include the stratum information,the rock information and the structure information. The stratum information is mainly reference to the stratum time,the lithologic combination,the material component,appearing area and so on. The rock information is mainly reference to the rock type, the formation time, the material component, the spatial distribution and so on. The structure information is mainly reference to the shape, the spatial mop,form and time of the linear structure or the ring structure. The mineralizaion alteration is mainly composition of the altered mineral aggregate, but the spectrum characteristic combination is formed the mineralization alteration spectrum.Mineral deposits,mineral occurrences,mineralization and hydrothermal alteration halo generated in metallogenic processes have stronger spectral sensitivity,the remote sensing anomalies show in images through the combination of color , line, circle, block, band etc. The remote sensing technique may provide plentiful information about stratum,rock mass, fault structures and wall rock alteration,which are related to ore-forming and difficult to obtain by the conventional geology methods .Therefor, through selecting Jinghong-Damenglong as study area by means of remote sensing technique to carry on the geological investigation work, the paper provided the guidance suggestions for the further geological investigation work. The main achievements are summarized as follows:1,Because Jinghong-Damenglong area is covered by thick vegetation and there is less rock outcrop,it is difficult to identify the geologic body by using of two-dimensional image in interpreting, using two expression forms of image to carry on the geological interpretation, the paper has obtained massive direct geologic body information related to ore-forming.2,Using the method of principle component analysis,the paper extracted the alteration information in study area and carried on the classification expression. In addition, the paper analyzed the distribution characteristics of alteration information, as for as the circumstantial evidence to search for the favorable position.3,Based on the remote sensing geological interpretation and alteration information extracting, the paper analyzed comprehensively the geological information of the study area, and discussed the possibility used GIS spatial analysis to predict possible exploration targets.The results show that the alteration information is influenced by the big structure, and the distribution is nearly along with the structure direction; The mineralization points are tallying with the structure and the alteration very well, the characteristics of Jinghong-Damenglong mineralization points is the distribution along the regions of line and ring structure cutting fiercely and alteration growth intense.
