In machine vision applications, image processing softwares have been a hot research topic, because image processing softwares account for 40% of the cost of application systems, it is also the core module and technology of the visual inspection system. In order to meet the changes in production-line testing system, by the application of machine vision technology, the research is about machine vision measuring software system and key technology, which is oriented to the reorganization technology in the manufacturing field. This study has changed the traditional integrated measurement software system into re-semi-standard software which is modularized and rapidly reconfigurable, meeting the production requirements and improving the competitiveness of products, reducing greatly the costs of software development. There are some important theoretical and engineering significances in the study.This paper mainly includes the following several aspects:Firstly, this paper analyzes the research background and significance of machine vision measuring software based on the reorganization technology, elucidates our research contents in recent years and the software development status of machine vision measuring at home and abroad, and proposes the concept of the reorganization machines vision software oriented to manufacturing, then constructs a reconfigurable machine vision software platform.Secondly, this paper decribes functional modules of machine vision measuring software based on the reconfigurable technology, such as edge extraction, region of interest extraction, geometric transformations, etc. And it makes the gear bearings, the screw thread and the bearing seal ring for the study object, analyzing characteristics of these functional modules, comparing the advantages and disadvantages between the similar modules.Thirdly, modularization design is realized in the machine vision measuring software based on the reconfigurable technology. The functional modules of the software are made for the form of dynamic-link library (dll files), and they can be easily embedded in other software systems.Finally, by the use of some functional modules of the software platform about machine vision measuring software based on the reconfigurable technology, the paper has completed the design of "Software for defects identification of gear bearing " and " Software for defects identification of the screw thread", which has verified application significance of the software in engineering.
