With the development of mobile communication technology, people enjoy more and more basic communication services provided by cellular networks, at the same time, a higher quality of service requirements, especially the support for mobility needs become more and more popular.The 4th Generation cellular network has higher frequency and data transfer rate than The 3th Generation cellular network, therefore, the existing cellular communication system architecture can not meet the requirements of 4G cellular network. Relay-based communication architecture is becoming a breakthrough of future mobile communication networks.In a typical cellular network we communication with other people through a static base station (BS) to a different mobile station (MS), the service provider side is stationary, and only the MS in the mobile. But in the mobile cooperative relay networks, when there are multiple mobile nodes, the channel has the Mobile-to-Mobile communications. As the MIMO system has a lager capacity than the traditional SISO system, therefore, the in-depth study and standardization of narrow-band MIMO M2M channel, broadband SISO M2M channel, broadband MIMO M2M channel and the narrow-band (wide-band) F2M-M2M channel based on the MCR has great significance.In this paper, based on the results of the existing theory, we researched the model and the first-order statistical characteristics of MIMO M2M mobile fading channel. The main contains of the paper and research contributions are briefly summarized as below.(1) The two-erose-ring geometric model which covers the single-bounce component, double-bounce component and the line of sight component during the signal transmission process in the actual communication system was established.(2) Based on the geometric model, the reference model was established and the statistical properties were derived, and the simulation results were given.(3) In order to facilitate the computer simulation, the simulation model was established. (4) The parameters calculation method was provided and the results of simulation were given.This paper provided a basis and reference for the establishment of a more accurate MIMO M2M channel model, and has the important theoretical significance for the research of the future MIMO M2M communication system.
