The oil and gas pipeline simulation software have an important application for the domain of Oil-Gas Storage and Transportation, it is an important tool to assist the pipeline design, operations management and maintenance depends on circumstances. Petrochina bought lot of foreign commercial pipeline simulation software recent years. Though they play an important role in practice, they cost millions of money, and the cost of maintenance every year is high. So Petrochina want develop pipeline simulation software that have proprietary intellectual property rights based on the experience of foreign commercial pipeline simulation, for the hope of replace the foreign commercial pipeline simulation software gradually.This paper will on the base of system research and development of the oil and gas pipeline simulation software, mainly research the software development process method that can fit the above project, and make an architectural design for the system of oil and gas pipeline simulation modeling, research on some key technology for it, and finally realized the system.This paper integrated the method of Agile Process, improved the Rational Unified Process, builds a process that based on Rational Unified Process center on Architectural Design, driven by use case, develops on iteration, and added the mechanism of refactoring and agile communication mechanism of Agile Process, build a method system of software development process for the project. In terms of Architectural Design, this paper parts the system for five parts: pipeline element description, pipeline element draw, pipeline element model file, pipeline element utility, user interface. Use the RUP"4+1"view model, builds the use case diagram, logic diagram, development diagram, process diagram and deploy diagram; Improved expansibility and stability of the system by means of application of design pattern, build a method of AOP by simulate the dynamic proxy that can deal with some crosscut problem of system. Finally on the base of key technology research, developed the oil and gas pipeline simulation modeling system, depend on the design realized the main system functions of edit element, element management, the configuration of unit system, the configuration of element parameters and global parameters, model file management, configuration of draw canvas.
