With the rising of the group communication, especially the services such as IPTV, distance education and so on, multicast technology has become the key means for supporting these services. In the network transmission, this kind of services is sensitive to bandwidth and delay so that the quality of service (QoS) guarantee is essential. At present, QoS multicast routing problem has become a hot spot in the field of the optimization of the network resources.When several multicast trees exist in the network, multiple multicast trees may lap over on some uncertain less-cost links so that bandwidth-competition may occur. Obviously, it goes against the quality of service. The problem about how to avoid such bandwidth-competition is called group-multicast or multiple-multicast. Because the multiple-multicast routing problem comprises the multicast routing problem and its QoS-constraint is more complex comparing to the multicast routing problem, the difficulty for solving QoS multiple-multicast routing problem outdistances QoS multicast routing problem.This paper researched how to use swarm intelligence optimization for solving QoS multiple-multicast routing problem. Two typical swarm intelligence optimization, particle swarm optimization and artificial fish swarm algorithm, are discussed and compared, firstly. Then, this paper respectively present a particle swarm optimization and an artificial fish swarm algorithm for solving QoS multicast routing problem. Based on the two presented algorithms in this paper, another two methods for solving QoS multiple-multicast routing problem is respectively presented. Finally, the exhaustive simulations indicates that the presented algorithms'validity.
