Quality Check System For NX 3D Disgn

The design and quality inspection system are developed by 3D data modeling rules in this paper. The system is based on Check-Mate detecting method and regards NX as its platform. The main topics of this paper are as follows:Nowadays, many advanced enterprises widely use concurrent engineering in the development of new product. This paper combining the NX software functionality and the actual requirements of companies establishes the 3D modeling standard which bases on NX. This standard includes the general rules of 3D designing, basic norms of NX modeling, the accuracy of the model, and the norms of file management, assembly and engineering drawing.The contents of 3D designing norm are engineering knowledge. The knowledge can be converted to the rules of the examining by KF language. In this paper, the qualitative detection system of 3D designing which bases on NX includes four test modules:the test module of document, the test module of part, the test module of assembly and the test module of engineering drawing. The quality of 3D designing data can be tested by the system, the defects of the designing data can be found quickly. Therefore, the quality of the product can be improved, the cost can be reduced and the time-to-market can be shortened.
