With the rapid development of information technology and continuously promote of information society, information security becomes more and more important. As the core technology of information security, encryption plays very important role in solving the problem of information security. Encryption algorithm is the core and foundation of the password techniques, and its importance is self-evident. Use encryption algorithm of information security can not only effectively guarantee the confidentiality of information, also protect the authenticity and integrity, so that make information from unauthorized users tampering, forgery and counterfeiting, etc.. The hybrid encryption algorithm proposed in this paper based on diversity, nonlinear and good data diffusion of changes of rotating cube. The algorithm can utilize the advantages of sequence encryption and block encryption, and give full play to the advantages of cube scrambling to realize the security of information encryption. The basic principle of the algorithm is that by building a virtual digital cube, with the key and plaintext a mapping relationship between groups, with the completion of the mapping of hybrid encryption on the plaintext. Its characteristics are:simple principle, easy programming, fast running, small data storage, more sensitive key, ciphertext produced compared with the plaintext, not only is position of scrambling, numerical also changed randomly. So it can effectively against differential cryptanalysis attack. Through the group with common encryption algorithm and sequence encryption algorithm, MATLAB simulation results and statistical analysis show that the algorithm has good statistical data and anti-proliferation effect of characteristics. HEABC algorithm is not only suitable for text encryption, but also for the grayscale image and color image; and even more, there is room for this algorithm to been optimized further in performance.
