Research Of The Intelligent Medical Equipment Management System Based On PDA

With the rapid development of modern science and technology and the gradually improvement of hospital information technology, especially PDA been widely applied, PDA-based distributed database of information processing systems has been realized in a new form. In the modern hospital, scientific and efficient management of medical equipment is also an important part, only with the modern medical equipment and modern management tools, hospital is the true sense of the modern hospital. Hence, the efficient and speedy management of the medical equipment is basic project of hospital's modernization, is the necessary way to improve hospital management, health care standards and quality of service. Medical equipment management system PDA-based was been developed, may get the information of medical equipment through the LAN from the server at any time. It can greatly improve the efficiency of healthcare, support the hospital's medical diagnostics business, reduce workload, assist hospital information management, improve the hospital's social and economic benefits.Medical equipment management system is one of the most important part of hospital information management. With the degree of modernization of the hospital, hospital also put forward higher requirements for information management of medical equipment. The author make medical equipment management as the thesis of this paper, complete the design and development of the intelligent medical equipment management system based on PDA through the following works.(1) Firstly, we determine the key technologies what the intelligent medical equipment management system based on PDA require:.NET Framework,ADO.NET,SQL Server CE,SQL Server 2000 and ADO.NET. And then we analyze these main points detailedly.(2) Secondly, according to the requirements of the intelligent medical equipment management system. We discusses the overall functional requirements of system briefly, detail the requirements of the system function modules. And the model of the system's database is established using object-oriented methods and unified modeling language.(3) Thirdly, we design the medical equipment management system in detail. In the process of using UML modeling language, we built the needs model of the system using case diagram. On the foundation of modeling, we design the database and function of the system detailedly.(4) Fourthly, on the basis of the above work, we complete the medical equipment management system based on PDA. The system includes application management, purchase management, acceptance management, use management, warehouse management, maintenance management, decommissioning/retirement management. It's a powerful, simple and practical system and could achieve the medical devices'registration, query, management, analysis and other functions. In the specific designation, we accomplish the corresponding flow chart and the friendly interface. And finally, the system has good maintainability and scalability, operational.
