Long-distance Product Exhibit Platform Design Based On Interaction Design

Long-distance product exhibit is a virtual exhibit spaces founded by using technologies such as digitalize, virtual reality to model, make animations, make 3D interaction designs on products, and to combine videos, images, animations, words together, to let people know about the products even when they do not present. People who make interaction with the products can have the feelings of using them in person. With the development of network technology, people can do more and more things on the internet. It has become a fashion to do shopping, to stag in stocks, and to entertain, which offer better circumstances for long-distance product exhibit. Long-distance product exhibit platform is such a tool to exhibit products information via internet. Nowadays, more and more enterprises and departments began to publish and exhibit their products by using the platforms founded on their websites, which is popular with more and more users.The largest purpose of the exhibit platform is to help users know more information about the products which are being exhibited. So the design of the platform should be user-centered. Designing exhibit platform using interaction design as theoretical support can make sure the design is based on users, considering behavioral and psychological factors of people can achieve the greatest degree of being user-centered. This thesis starts with interaction design, discusses the building processes of long-distance product exhibit platform by defining the range of the platform, researching the features and analyzing the purpose of the users. It contains behavior design and visual interface design of the platform, and the analysis of the components and elements in the interface. General steps of building the product exhibit platform and the criterion of the interface design are concluded finally, an example is show to verify the conclusion which has just made at last.
