With the growing of social needs and rapid development of technology in computer,electronic and communication,variety of voice transmission equipment and communication system is gradually applied to all levels of command post in the army. At present, where the ground communications systems,ground-air communications systems,Voice and Time Recording systems and the other systems,exist in the most of command post in the army.That found in use, multi-system architecture result in the need for more logistics support personnel, need to operate several terminals, operating inconvenient and not high efficiency. To overcome these shortcomings and meet the increasing demand for commanders, it is need to develop a highly integrated, feature-rich equipment to achieve the function of the original several communication. The voice command system describing in this article is such a device.Digital seat is an important device,which is the platform of settings and to carry out various operations in the voice command system.This seat is designed with methods of digital E1 interface and ISDN user-network interface protocol.The technology of E1 interface and ISDN user-network interface protocol is analyzed in the discourse. Hardware development and software design of digital seat are discussed in detail in the article. This paper follows the principle of combining hardware and software,choose LPC2146 chip as the micro-controller to control system and process applications. Adopt DS21354 which produced by Dallas to carry out transceiver of E1 and complete full-duplex digital communication online. DS21354 is also used to implement part of the protocol on data link level. To ensure the fastly, efficiently and dependable of the system, the majority of the logic work are carry out by XC95288, which is a complex programmable logic device (CPLD).The digital seat has four voice channels, which can offer telephone, intercom and call-radio. The equipment can meet the different needs of command posts,and each voice channel is also flexibility to set.Meanwhile,the digital seat discussed in this paper can be used in public security, fire, electricity and other fields, by modifying the software running on computer,without changing the circuit design.
