In recent year, cooperative communication has become a hotspot in the field of wireless communication. Cooperative communication can achieve effective reuse of frequency, time and space etc. resources in wireless communication system, and greatly enhance anti-fading performance. However, the transmission rate of cooperative network is limited in the case of multi-user. Using the broadcast nature of wireless media, physics-layer network coding in wireless cooperative network can achieve a better diversity performance, effectively improve the network transmission rate and has a very high spectrum efficiency and lower hardware loss. This thesis will focus on research for wireless cooperative networks a physical layer network coding techniques—complex field network coding (CFNC). There are altogether five chapters in the thesis. Its main works are as follow:The second chapter introduces several diversity techniques, and makes analysis and MATLAB simulation on maximal-ratio combining (MRC), selection combining (SC) and equal-gain combining (EGC) of three commonly used combining methods. The results show the performance of MRC is best. The third chapter introduces two communication schemes:LAR scheme and C-MRC scheme for the three-node cooperative network, and observes their main parameters on the effect of cooperative performance by Monte-Carlo simulation. The forth chapter focuses on research CFNC for different collaborative networks, and makes a deeply analysis for their performance of diversity. The results shows that CFNC can achieve full diversity gain regardless of the underlying signal-to-noise-ratio and the constellation used, and CFNC can realize multi-user cooperative communication as well as simultaneous information exchanges among souces.
