Weak signal detection is an emerging technology disciplines range of applications fields. Nearly 30 years, the theory and methods which has been used to withdraw wealth information from the signal submerged in noise in the study of the macro-and micro-world process.And they are carried out to be systematia and complete. The technology of the detection of the weak signal is combined with the electronic detection technology. Given the extensive application of FPGA technology and the pseudo-random sequence has the similar correlation of white noise, the measurement process of the interference, noise has little effect on the correlation peak. This topic is designed based FPGA and pseudo-random sequences with the weak signal and measurement systems.Firstly, the paper analyzes characteristics of the pseudo-random sequence, measurement principle, the related operations and the relationship between the FFT. Pseudo-random sequence based on weak optical signal detection system provides a theoretical basis.Secondly, section describes the system hardware design, introduces a pseudo-random sequence method for forming the optical transmitter and optical receiver design and implementation, and details of the FPGA-based hardware implementation of FFT method.In order to achieve processing of the related signal, the paper discusses the FFT algorithm in a weak optical signal measurement system. FFT algorithm is inplemented of using FPGA, completing the measurement signal correlation processing.Finally, the details of the entire pseudo-random sequence based on weak optical signal detection system hardware and software installation process.And the entire design of the system-level is tested, As a pseudo-random sequence similar to white noise of the correlation characteristics, the correlation peak has been effected on by the interference, noise.Therefore, the wesk signal can be detectedand the measurement accuracy can be improved. The weak light signal detection based on pseudo-random sequence is simple and has more pratical value.
