| As one of the mainstream technology in flat panel display industry, PDP has increasingly obtained a high degree of concern from the domestic industry and strong support from all levels of government. It was just this trend that made Sichuan Changhong Corporation invested and constructed PDP module. However, PDP panel manufacturing technics is mainly mastered by the United States, Japan and other developed countries, especially in the post-order process of PDP panel. Jointing the front substratum and the behind one is still the bottleneck in PDP manufacturing process.The PDP assembly machine now researching on can be used to align the front substratum and the behind substratum. A brief introduction of PDP panel manufacturing technics will be made firstly in this paper. And then we will discuss in details the overall system design, system performance index and each module within the system, including PLC module, vision positioning system, servo control module, vacuum circuit module and human-machine interface module. Finally this paper gives a software design of the upper stage, upper centering stage, clip clamp short stage, vision positioning system and the human-machine interface of the whole system.Due to the large number of servo axes in the PDP assembly machine, this paper applies a motion control mode:Motion Controllerâ†'Servo Amplifierâ†'Servo Motor, which controls the 42-axes servo to precisely position through the two Mitsubishi motion Q173HCPU.In the alignment part, this equipment applies FV-Aligner vision positioning system, which is a whole set of advanced hardware and software technologies and combines image processing and motion control perfectly to achieve high-performance, high-precision image processing automated precision alignment, in addition the alignment accuracy is up to 5μm. Besides, the vision positioning system applies an advanced four-axis X1X2Y1Y2 platform which can maintain a high rigidity and high precision movement in all directions. |
