In the pipeline, when the robot cleaned grease, after working for a period of time, the battery power carried by the robot was not enough. Usually, the robot need suspend the work, and charge it. In response to this situation, the robot designed in this paper is no cable, the fluid kinetic energy was transformed into electrical energy, providing electricity for the robot, and improved the efficiency of the robot.For work environment exiting oil pipeline, this robot was designed for standard pipe, whose diameter from (?) 300 mm to (?) 500mm. The diameter of robot d is 230mm, its length L is 570mm.It is divided into power systems, body systems and cleaning systems, the various systems are connected to bellows. And analyses the load case of robot in the pipeline, designed the overall structure of the robot, and select each system components. The robot is driven by the stepper motor, it makes droved-wheel scroll, to achieve robot walking. Grease is cleaned on the pipe wall by the steel brush. The robot seal uses internal and external pressure balance system. According to the principle of energy conversion, energy conversion program is approved, the energy conversion device is selected and verified.
