Feature extraction module is the module which can collect garment information. Its function is to extract feature of the garment from the dressed people image.This module analyzes the garment pattern examples which offered by experts at first and quantize the image of example for getting the standard. The module extracts the characteristic points by edge detection operator. Then it detects the lines and angle points build up by characteristic points. Let the system can produce the standard which can be used to match. When the dressed people image was input, system will find the position of people according to the detection of complexion. Locate the garment with de relation between body and garment and use region growing to segment out the region of garment. Quantize the region segmented by the same way as the image of example. At last, consider the patterns of each part in garment by the standard produced.
