While the applications of high- quality display of images and videos of massive date becoming more and more important, large screen display system has been a common requirement. The development of the video card has made it possible to support the display system, and now display equipment has been the bottleneck.Today, in order to get an inexpensive and high quality display system, using multi-projectors to compose a projector-array to get good display effect has been a development trend. Researches in auto-geometry calibration has always been popular, but those researches always stay in experiment stages. Problems such as the complexity of operation and robustness made it almost impossible to work properly in some environments. In geometry calibration, the key problem is to work out the corresponding relation among some spaces. This paper presents a new fast self-adapted method to solve the problems such as sensitivity to environment noises and hardness to operate faced by classical software based calibration resolution. It involves iteration processes until error converges, and confirms the system can decide parameters itself and reaches an ideal result. Under hostile conditions, expecially when under uneven illumination, in order to get better calibration results, we can use a new method based on probability model to set different parameter for different areas. The whole process can work automatically almost without manual intervention. The dependence on environmental factors has been very low, the illumation change barely has any effect to the calibration speed or precision unless the illumation is so bad that it is impossible to regonize patterns on screen.
