In the industrial process control, many researchers pay much attention and make some efforts on the control of large inertia and time delay system at all times. Due to time delay widely existing in the practical systems. Therefore, it can increase control difficulty of the system. Time delay, often is one of the main reason of causing the system performance deterioration and even instable. So the research of the large inertia and time delay system stability and control is significance.The research mainly comes from practical produce of factory. The study object is the large-scale bridge type disc reclaimer in cement produce process. The disc reclaimer is a control system of large inertia and time delay closed-loop. This paper is dead against some existing problems of control system, such as difficult to determine precise mathematical model, the impact of external disturbance and so on. This paper expatiate a solution based on fuzzy control technology. Fuzzy control is humanoid mind control technology that does not rely on mathematical models. It can take advantage of the experts experience or knowledge to establish fuzzy rules of the control system. According theoretical analysis and computer simulation, we can know that the fuzzy control arithmetic can effectively overcome the deficiencies of conventional PID control. At the same time, it also improves performance of the large inertia and time delay system. In this paper, main studies include as follows:1. This paper study on the stability of the large inertia and time delay system with the non-linear external disturbance. A new intelligent fuzzy controller is obtained base on lots of field data and experience of technical personnel. This paper tries to consummate the process control system of the disc reclaimer on the control algorithm.2. The new control system has added the concept of fuzzy control base on the conventional PID control algorithm. It try to make the system parameters own the function that automatic adapt for changing.3. This paper tries to solve the difficulties of large inertia and time delay control system. And it can achieve the requirements of industrial production according the fuzzy control technology.
