The Application Of Unified Authentication In Digitized Campus

The construction of digitized campus has passed through the subsystem construction stage about basic net hardware and independent application (information management).There are more and more application subsystems based on campus net. So is the so-called "the information isolated island". Therefore, researching and developing a practical, reliable and safe platform of unified authenticates plays a very important role in the construction of digitized campus.This essay will introduce the basic concept and present situation of authentication, analyze the existing authentication technology, study the main authentication mechanisms, further discuss the jurisdiction access control technology, mainly introducing a kind of technology based on RBAC (Role Base Access Control) whose core thought is to connect users and jurisdiction through roles. Based on the fundamental research, a unified authentication system model based on the LDAP directory service is designed, combing Web Service and XML technology .This system model has not only solved the problem of Integration certification of campus net multi- isomerism system, fully considering the security and expansibility of the system, but also have provided a very good reference model for the information construction of campus net.
