In recent years, with the development of economy, the competition between enterprises has gradually expanded from traditional field of trade and technological to the field of logistics. As an important part of the supply chain management, goods storage management is under the observation of enterprises. By the reason of the distribution costs is an important component of the enterprise's operating costs, how to achieve the purpose of reducing distribution costs through the reasonable goods storage management has been one of the targets of enterprise's business practice.On the other hand, the data mining technology has been widely used in many industries and this brought notable economic benefit. However, there was not too much research on the control of distribution costs in logistics fields by using the data mining technology based on fuzzy clustering analysis. Thus this thesis rescerched on the application of data mining technology based on fuzzy clustering analysis used in the storage and allocation strategies of goods by taking a tire manufacturing enterprise as an example, and finally proved the application by simulation modeling. The main research contents are as follows:Firstly, this thesis introduced the concept, characteristics and the frequently-used algorithms of the data mining technology. Besides, the data mining technology based on clustering analysis was also introduced in this thesis. At the same time, this thesis had do some relevant research and demonstration on the application of data mining technology based on clustering analysis and thus put forward the data mining model based on the fuzzy c-means clustering algorithms.Secondly, this thesis had do some research on the storage and allocation strategies of goods based on data mining. It took the order data of a tire manufacturing enterprise as a prerequisite and used the fuzzy c-means clustering algorithms as the clustering analysis algorithms of data mining based on the preliminary work such as data preparation, select and pretreatment, etc. The thesis realized this algorithm by the c++ programming language and used the algorithm for the classification of goods. Thus it finally obtained the goods storage and allocation strategies by combining the actual situation of the enterprise.Finally, this thesis realized the distribution simulation modeling on the goods storage and allocation strategy that based on data mining by using Arena simulation software as the simulation tools. The comparison and analysis between the previously goods storage and allocation strategy and that after data mining was based on the results of simulation modeling, and this proved that the strategy not only helps enterprises to save distribution costs on the storage of goods, but also improved the service level of warehouse and optimizes the goods storage and allocation, thus made the enterprise's goods storage and allocation more scientific and reasonable.
