The perfect discrete signal and its design method play an important role in the optimizing design in the area of modernistic communication, radar, sonar, navigation, space ranging and controlling and electronically antagonism system. Well-structured signals can enhance system's properties of anti-interference, amti-noise, anti-doubts, and confidentiality of data etc. Therefore to study the properties and constructing methods of all kinds of the perfect discrete signal in depth is important both in theory and application. This paper reseachs on some array pairs signal which are proposed recently, with cyclic correlation for the criterion of perfect signal.First of all, in the perfect binary array pairs aspect. By using the relation of the properties of differences set pairs and perfect binary array pairs, the differences set pairs method for constructing perfect binary array pairs is presented. Polynomial is a common method for designing the perfect discrete signal. This paper presents characteristic polynomial method for constructing perfect binary array pairs. A lot of perfect binary array pairs can be constructed by using these two methods.Secondly, almost perfect binary array pairs and almost perfect punctured binary array pairs with good periodic correlation signals are the extension of the perfect binary array pairs. So the research on thire constructing methods is an important subject. Three methods for constructing almost perfect binary array pairs and almost perfect punctured binary array pairs are proposed. They are composite mutipliction, periodic multiplication and folding methods.Finally, a new periodic correlation signal is defined, which is quasi- perfect ternary pairs. The transform features of quasi-perfect ternary pairs were discussed, and its existing necessary condition was studied. We also analyzed the relations between it and quasi-perfect binary array pairs, quasi-perfect punctured binary array pairs, perfect ternary array pairs. Many quasi-perfect ternary pairs with small size were searched with computer.
