WLAN, which is one of the universal wireless networking forms, has the ability of flexible mobility and high data transmitting rate. However,as its application is extensive, there exists lots of security problems, which has become a key studying topic.Recently.a great many security holes has been found in WLAN protocols, such as those in WEP protocol,as a result, experts set new WLAN security protocols such as IEEE 802.11i and WAPI standards of China.Conformance testing is an important part in protocol engineering and is indispensable. It is mainly to check the consistency between the implementation and the specifications.Now.in communication networks, more and more new protocols come into being. Before each protocol runs into real environment,it must come through conformance testing first and only such can it run correctly and normally. In the paper, the main task is to test the WLAN security access protocols of project according to its requirement.Firstly, with the principles in protocol engineering,we formally analyze the access authentication process in WLAN security access protocols;Secondly, with the theories of conformance testing.we design the plan of conformance testing aiming at WLAN security access protocols;lastly,we implement the conformance testing system according to the plan. The conformance testing in the paper uses the method combining passive testing and active testing. The system mainly implements the passive testing system. It can tests the security access part of 802.11b protocol as well as 3PAKE which is the WLAN security access protocol of project.Also.it has a friendly UI which can be more convenient for user.As to active testing,we use the TTCN-3 testing language in OSI 9646 standards with which the system will efficiently and uniquely generate the test cases and the whole testing process will be more standardized.
