As the first international communication standard that China completely has the independent intellectual property rights, TD-SCDMA is stably evolving into the new generation of communication systems, namely IMT-Advanced. With this evolution, the key technologies in TDD-MIMO systems are becoming hot research topics in recent years. This thesis analyzes the impact of interference on the channel reciprocity of TDD-MIMO systems with emphasis on inter-cell interference, and proposes an inter-cell interference suppression algorithm. The main works is as follows:1. The MIMO pre-coding techniques are studied. Based on the standard of 3GPP spatial channel model, the performance of pre-coding algorithm of MIMO systems with different numbers of transmit and receive antennas in different SCM environments is emulated.2. With the existence of inter-cell interference and non-reciprocal channels caused by unsymmetrical interference between uplink and downlink, the system capacity is derived. Simulation scenarios of multi-cell TDD-MIMO systems are built up under different SCM environments, and then the performance degradation due to non-reciprocal TDD-MIMO channels is simulated and analyzed.3. A leakage-based inter-cell interference suppression algorithm is proposed. By using the channel reciprocity of TDD-MIMO systems, the proposed algorithm removes the performance degradation caused by the unsymmetrical interference;The algorithm doesn't needs any feedback for the transmitter to implement pre-coding and imposes no harsh demand for the number of transmit and receive antennas.
