In the medical field, it is important to protect medical data security about the patient's basic information, diagnostic information and other medical information. Digital watermarking technology has become an important method to solve the problem. In order to facilitate transmission, it usually makes the secret information as watermark to be added to the corresponding medical images, then transmits together. As a result of the particularity of medical imaging, in ensuring the invisibility of the watermark, the influence of the watermark embedded to the image is smaller as soon as possible in order to ensure the quality of medical image. In this paper, by dividing and then reorganizing the text watermark messaging, we study and implement a higher capacity text information embedded method in medical image. The completion of major tasks includes:Firstly the existing text watermark algorithm primarily applies the binary data stream to express the watermark information. There is a shortcoming that there is smaller watermark capacity and more limited to express text information content. This paper proposes re-treatment method that text information ASCII yards reorganize after splitting ASCII value. It is greatly improves the watermark capacity by use the pre-treatment method. Test result shows that the Chinese text information capacity increasing three times and the English text information two times.Second in an overview of digital watermark technology of text information, we have designed and implemented text information embedded algorithm based on two-dimensional discrete wavelet transform in the medical imaging. By two-dimensional discrete wavelet transform for medical imaging carried out at different levels of decomposition, we will embed the pre-treatment text information into low-frequency part of three-level coefficient by two-dimensional discrete wavelet transform algorithm and implement the text information to be hiding embedded. The simulation results about lung CT images show that the algorithm is in ensuring the image quality; the text information is effetely invisibility; the watermark capacity is greatly increasing, etc.
