Research And Implementation On Automatic Identification System Of Remote Control Panel

The computer technology of digital image manipulation is wildly used, and the article is another researching example on the production of remote control. The system of intelligent detection on remote control is to change the former manual testing faceplate to automatic judgment. With the computer technology of digital image manipulation, all the buttons on the remote control are automatically located, then we compare the image of the objected buttons with the standard buttons, and make the judgment about the correctness of the installed buttons according to the difference of the image. In this way ,the automatic detection on the panel of remote control is carried on quickly and efficiently.The article talks about the background of the project in general first of all, then analyzes image segmentation algorithms at home and abroad. Based on most of the algorithms, we explore the algorithm applied to button segmentation in remote control devices and raise the algorithm about buttons of part-projection. With the algorithm, we research and develop the intelligent detection of remote control device panels. Aimed at the difficulties in the system, we raise the region comparison algorithm based on elasticity template and complete the system in hardware and software. The work are described as below:1) Image segmentation algorithm on buttons of part-projection: At first we grey the images and gain the sudden change information by edge detection, then revise the images with corrosion and inflation of mathematical morphology. Finally we search the area which maybe include buttons, partly project in the area and gain the button region.2) Real-time region comparison algorithm based on elasticity template: It should separate the objective and background firstly, during the difference method in the system, make subtraction of the real time image and the background image, to get the area of the objective remote control. For decreasing the difference about the ray and location in the inspection, will be used the flexible template inspecting method, it means that amplify the compared difference, and move it and rotate it moderately, and confirm the reliability based on the best compared effects every time. In this way, the system can detect the wrong switch correctly based on the guarantee of the button right action. 3) Implement the system of intelligent detection on remote control devices panel.. The error of the buttons during the inspection will be saved into database, stat the error information to provide the demanding function for error situation anciently, and come into a feedback to rectify the hidden trouble in the production process.The article explores the developing process of the remote control aptitude error finding system in details, analyzes every happened problem, brings forward the corresponding arithmetic, finishes the developing work of the system finally. The system is used by the manufacturer now.
