Nowadays, most commercial banks have already made the accomplishment of the data concentration within the full range of the bank business, but the next work that still need to further improve is the integration of the particular application systems. With the development of the bank business and the extension of the application systems, it is urgently needed to pay attention to the problems of overlapped investment in system resources, complication of the system structure, lower operation efficiency, and difficulties in developing and maintaining the follow-up software systems. The Bank Integrated Prepositive Platform has broad and open structure, it supports various kinds of business channels and services , and also supports various kinds of communication mechanisms,protocols and message types. The platform has the quality of operating stably and efficiently with perfect mechanism of management and security. As the host server of all client platforms, and also as the client platform of all host servers, the platform holds a pivotal position and plays an important role in the banking electronic system.First, the thesis makes an introduction about some relevant concepts and hardware and software environment of the Bank Integrated Prepositive Platform (IPP), analyse its architecture, and focus on its function modules with thorough and deep study. The operating principle of IPP is detailed illustrated through the specific analyse of the communication gateway, transaction routing, message analysis, Transaction Process Unit (TPU) and monitoring management module.After that, the thesis makes a study of the secondary development of "Bank-Tax Linkage" system, a specific bank business project based on the IPP, mainly focused on the requirement analysis, outline and detailed design, and its implementation.Finally, the thesis design a test scheme based on the business requirements of "Bank-Tax Linkage" project and finishes parts of the test work. The thesis emphasises on the analyse of IPP, meanwhile, the shortage is the lack of the research on data security. In addition, the thesis attempt to analyse and expatiate IPP through a typical project, but as a result of the simplicity of the business type and transaction mode of the "Bank-Tax Linkage" project, the thesis may not fully described the characteristics and advantages of the IPP.
