With the rapid development of modern technology, the wireless network is being increasingly made use of in military field, so the wireless communication security becomes an ineluctable problem. As numerous mobile terminals with embedded VxWorks system have been widely and quickly implemented in force, which provide more secure communication for VxWorks terminals in wireless.However, there are still a lot of hidden problems in the VxWorks transport protocol, which can not satisfy the requirement of secure communication in military environment. So it is vital and imminent to design a wireless security transport protocol for VxWorks mobile terminals.According to the characteristics of wireless communication and mobile terminals, this dissertation designs and realizes a secure, fast and reliable protocol-EWST (Embedded Wireless Security Transport), which provides authenticity, confidentiality, integrality, reliability service.The main work and innovations are summarized as follows:1. Aiming at the character and secure requirement of the VxWorks mobile terminals, EWST protocol frame is proposed, as well as its function and mechanism are designed and realized.2. Based on the theory and character of CPK identification, an improved handshake protocol based on CPK is proposed, which is included in the EWST protocol. EWST realizes compact and secure authentication, also ensures the confidentiality and integrality of data transfer.3. Aiming at the transport character in wireless, a fast and reliable transport module of EWST is proposed. It also designs a datagram format suitable for VxWorks, which adopts flow control, design of timers and selective retransmission and so on.And then the performance of mechanism is predicted by the transport module.4. It designs and realizes EWST protocol in VxWorks, and then the efficiency of the protocol is validated, tested and analyzed. It achieves the requirement of the design, and satisfies secure communication requirement of VxWorks wireless environment. It also shows significance of demonstration for secure transport protocol in other environment.
