Ammonium sulfate(ammonium sulfate), as an important chemical substance, has been widely used in various industrial processes. For its quality depends on evaporation process greatly, with the increasing demand to the quality of ammonium sulfate, how to improve the control performance of ammonium sulfate evaporation process, and how to apply advanced control strategy to evaporation process show great significance in improving the quality of its products.On the background of production process of ammonium sulfate in a smelter,based on research and analysis of the Evaporation and Crystal process in ammonium sulfate practical production process, modeling, imitation, advanced control strategy have been studied and control system has been designed. The following aspects of topics have been studied in this paper:(1) Based on analysis of ammonium sulfate evaporation technology, dynamical mechanism model is constructed for four-effect evaporation process, and more orientation imitation research has been studied by MATLAB method, basic characteristics can be obtained for this system, which established the basic for the use of control strategic.(2) According to the dynamic model of evaporation process Jacobian matrices are used to partly linearization, and Dual-Mode Predictive Control strategy is adopted to study its control performance so as to judge its superiority and feasibility.(3) In order to solve the problem of low-speed in optimization process, we introduced a Aggregation Optimization Strategy with input decaying form. The dimensions of the control variables have been decreased and the results show the demand to optimization of real time has been satisfied.(4) In the course of designing the control system, a scheme including multi-effect evaporation, configuration monitor technology and PLC control technology are proposed on the basis of the actual condition of the enterprise.With the applications of above technologies, the stability of system has been guaranteed, the design of PLC control technology satisfies the demand to automation of production in corporation, the charge of production in complex situation has been satisfied by configuration monitor technology.
